10 People Reveal Times Psychics Actually Predicted Their Future

To be honest, most people aren’t gifted to begin with, so it’s difficult to believe some people are born with a psychic “gift” that usually has little return. Because of this, it’s actually a rather notable occurrence when your clairvoyant pulls through. Given the rarity of the “gift,” it stands to reason that the most unexpected mediums can surprise you with some quality predictions.

If you went to an accurate psychic, what would you want to know? Is it when you’ll die? The winning lottery numbers? If your spouse is cheating on you? Who wins the game of thrones? The people here, all from Reddit, disclose predictions from psychics who truly knew their future.

  1. Predicted That Dad Would Be A Widower

    From ubergeek:

“My parents went to go see a gypsy fortune teller when we lived in Greece, and the lady told my parents that my dad would be a widower. My mom laughed, and thought it was silly, but she was murdered six years later (in Canada).

I’m a complete skeptic, but my dad is absolutely terrified of the idea now. Crazy coincidence.”

  2. He Would Meet A Very Emotional Woman

    From Charliebeanz:

“When I was in the Army, I had a friend do a tarot reading for me once because I was bored and figured it would be funny. He told me I would marry my then-BF (I did), but that we wouldn’t be together long (we weren’t), and that I would have a daughter in a year or two with aforementioned BF (and I did). At the time I didn’t believe any of that, but was a little freaked out when he told me I would meet a very emotional women within a week, and three days later a girl was transferred to my company who literally bawled all day long and wouldn’t stop for anything.”

  3. Told She Would Have A Lot Of Children

    From hipstergropaga:

“Not me, but a friend of my mother’s did once. The psychic told her that she would have lots of children, and my mom’s friend – who had had fertility problems for years – cussed her out and left. A year later they tried in vitro fertilization and not only did one egg stick, but three. Triplets.

I don’t believe, personally, but it’s certainly a good story.”

  4. Psychics Think She’s Psychic

    From MrsShaunaPaul:

“I have had the opportunity to meet three psychics in my life. I should mention I am very skeptical and more into science than spirits.

Meeting one: went with a friend who was scared to go alone at a local fair in a booth. She said that ‘it is obvious you are not hear to learn anything from me – you so strongly have the gift. I could feel your energy before you even came in.’ I laughed it off. My friend got her reading and we left. My friend thinks I’m psychic now.

Meeting two: with same friend in California on a school trip. We are eating at a family restaurant on the patio. A woman comes up and sits next to me. ‘Your aura looks cloudy, how do you handle all this energy around you?’

I respond with ‘pardon me?’ She proceeds to tell me that she sensed my presence and that she needed to talk to me. She wanted to tell me that I needed to cleanse my aura to release my guilt. She continued to chat with me about how I needed to use this muscle more so I could strengthen my talent while ‘picking’ bad karma from my aura.

Meeting three: at a party and am telling the two stories from above when someone tells me her friend is just finishing an internship at a psychic’s studio. She comes in and asks me all these questions like ‘Do you see people as colors?’ and ‘Do you feel the weather?’ She is now trying to convince me I am psychic. Several people ask me for readings. Luckily I’m in sales and marketing, so I can BS like a pro for those who were insistent. Gave everyone positive readings because I like karma (not link/comment karma, but karma in life…obviously link/comment karma is also awesome).”

  5. The Page Of Pentacles Appeared

    From gypsea:

“My mom reads tarot cards, and her readings are always ridiculously accurate. I have picked up a bit of it from years of watching, but am in no way an expert. In any event, here is my best example:

I should start by saying that in tarot there are four different ‘kingdoms.’ The king or queen of one of these is used to represent you (determined by individual personality.) I am represented by the queen of pentacles and my husband by the king of pentacles. There is also a page in each kingdom that often will represent a child (relevant.)

On this particular occasion, I was hoping to find out whether or not I was pregnant. With queen of pentacles on the table, I begin to shuffle the cards (of which there are 78) when a card slips out of my hand and lands on the ground face up – the page of pentacles. I pick it up and continue shuffling (very thoroughly mind you). Flipped the first card onto the table – you guessed it, page of pentacles.

    She’s now 16-months-old.”

  6. A Handy Psychic Physician

    From elementsoff:

“My mum went to one and all she had to do was tell the psychic lady our birthdays. Anyway, she gave my mum a list of stuff for me that would be good for my throat. I do have a lot of throat problems, which my Mum didn’t mention, and the stuff the lady recommended was actually really helpful. So that was weird.”

  7. Saw An Accurate Chinese Astrologer

    From pouitpouit:

“I don’t believe in this stuff and think it’s complete crap

However, I was in China recently and went to see a fortune teller.

The wise man simply asked me my birth date and proceeded to browse through the thousand lines and columns of a weird book.

I immediately thought ‘Dude, with the money you make, buy yourself a computer, make a big spreadsheet?’

Anyway, after looking at the walls covered with pictures of cats for 15 minutes, he finally started to tell me about… my past.

He told me five or six things that all happened to be true.

    Those included:

The year I lost my virginity (the cute Chinese girl translating for me couldn’t help but laugh (yes, it was on date))

Years at which two big events occurred in my life. They matched the dates I moved across the Atlantic. Once as a kid, once as a teenager.

The number of sisters and brothers I have. He said two. I said no, I only have a sister. He insisted that I had one more, or that maybe he died at a very young age and I was never told about him. Then I remembered my dad just had a kid with his new wife, so in fact, even though it’s only half a brother, it counts. Shame on me.

Well, my mind was pretty much blown at this point, so before he started telling me about my future, I told my date not to translate and simply write it on paper, so I can read it in 10 or more years.

    Sadly I overheard two things:

I’ll die in my 80s (TOO OLD.)

I’ll have two kids (NOOOOOOPE. I’m extremely serious about never giving life. It’s too big a deal. ‘POP here you are!’ I hate this.)

He also told me I’ll have problems with my stomach in the future and gave me some advice.”

  8. She Predicted A Potential Crash

    From an anonymous Redditor:

“She not only accurately predicted most of the significant events in my life over the subsequent year, but she also gave me some good advice – one item of which may have saved my life!

Other clairvoyants (I have seen two others before) have been total rubbish, but this one is truly amazing. My friend saw the same lady though and didn’t get much out of it.

It is genuinely amazing. During my reading, she was trying to tell me about something she could see for me and had to stop because all she could hear were spirit voices saying ‘Don’t sleep, don’t sleep.’ She told me this and then went quiet a bit while she tried to get some context. She saw black/dark colored car completely wrecked at the side of a road. As you can imagine, I was very cautious and started making extra sure I didn’t drive tired. Anyway a few months later I was clearing out our old house on the other side of England with my ex and it took a long time. We only started heading back about 3 am. He and I used to take turns driving and sleeping alternately on long journeys. So I settled in to rest and then coming out of Liverpool, I suddenly realized – tired, sleep, black car! Argh!

So I woke myself right up and started paying attention. He was driving as if he was drunk, he was so tired. I offered to take over, he said he was fine. I kept watching him and the empty road very closely and then it happened. He properly fell asleep at the wheel. The car started swerving left. I grabbed the wheel and shouted so he pulled over safely. I drove the rest of the way while he slept .

I believe we would both have been very badly hurt or killed that night.

Other things she saw were my brother who was never born, some stuff about my grandma’s will, the man I am now with (my friend at the time), our happiness and specific shared interests, the names of my bosses and my very well hidden illnesses and disability. All in crystal-clear detail.

I want to go see her again but I am actually a little scared! I used to be so skeptical.”

  9. They Can Read Minds

    From 1toadalone:

“I’ve never been to a psychic, but to some degree my mother and I can read minds. It’s wonderful to be working (McDonalds) and tell people what they want. Or just be able to tell people with decent accuracy what they are thinking about. I am wrong sometimes, but my statements are never vague.”

  10. Messed Around With Oracle Cards

    From nesscakes:

“I haven’t been to a professional, but I did play around with oracle cards when I was younger. You know, when Charmed was cool. I was in 8th grade.

Most of my readings, from what I can tell, came true.

My most memorable one had to be when a friend of mine asked for a reading about a guy she had a crush on, and based on the cards, I said that the guy was going to ask her out on a date but changed his mind last minute and that she should move on. The very next day, she found out from a close friend of his that he was interested in her but didn’t end up asking her out.

I still have those cards but I haven’t used them in a while.”
