30 Crazy Celebrity Conspiracy Theories

While there are countless conspiracy theories about celebrities, only a few verge into the realm of the truly crazy. We’re not talking about so-and-so faking a scandal, or who had work done. We’re talking murder, mayhem, government plots, elaborate fakes, money, sex, time travel, aliens, and of course, the Illuminati. All of it happening in the very heart of the Hollywood entertainment complex, waiting to be discovered by Internet sleuths.

Here are the most far-out, unbelievable, crazy celebrity conspiracy theories. We’re not saying any of them are true… but we’re not saying any of them aren’t true.

Beyonce

There are so many conspiracies out there about Queen B. People have been convinced for years that her and her rapper husband Jay Z are part of the Illuminati. The biggest theory out there revolves around the superstar’s first pregnancy. Back in 2011, a pregnant Beyonce appeared on an Australian talk show. As the star sat down in her seat, her swollen stomach appeared to deflate and fold in. This sparked an internet wildfire, with fans speculating that she wore a fake baby bump.

Katy Perry

In 1996 the child pageant queen JonBenét Ramsey was brutally murdered in her family home. The world was enthralled with the murder case surrounding the blue-eyed all-American girl. Today, there are many conspiracy-crazed fans who are convinced the pop singer Katy Perry is, in fact, JonBenét. The child’s death was supposedly a hoax and she would later claim a new identity and go on to become the world-famous singer. The star has never addressed the theory but the rumors remain.

Khloe Kardashian

There has been speculation surrounding the paternity of Khloe Kardashian for years. There are many fans who believe that Khloe’s biological father is football star OJ Simpson. Khloe herself has even acknowledged the rumor on multiple episodes of the famous family’s reality TV show, once asking her mother if she was adopted. Simpson, who was a close friend of the Kardashian family, has denied the allegation.

Elvis Presley

The iconic star and actor, Mr Elvis Presley, is said to have died in his Graceland home in 1977 due to a heart attack. Yet, in the decades following the star’s mysterious end, there have been legions of fans who have allegedly spotted Elvis walking the streets. There is even a Canada-based ‘Elvis Sighting Society.’ The theory has spawned books, multiple Facebook groups and garnered some hard-core believers from around the world who continue to believe that Elvis has not yet left the building.

Stevie Wonder

Stevie Wonder is a world-famous and critically acclaimed musician whose career spans five decades, he is also blind. Yet for years, some fans have speculated the star can see. The singer loves to attend basketball games, was once photographed taking a picture and supposedly caught a microphone mid-air after it slipped from his hands while in concert. The good-humored star has even joked that the allegation is true. When asked about the theory by a TMZ reported in 2017, the singer said, “This year, I will reveal the truth.”

Marilyn Monroe

In 1962, when the iconic blonde bombshell was found unresponsive in her LA home, Marilyn Monroe’s death was ruled as a probable suicide. Although Marilyn was known to be fragile, wrought with insecurity and prone to bouts of severe depression, there were many who believed that the incident was not quite what it appeared to be. Some fans still believe the star was murdered by the CIA in order to cover up an affair with the then-President John F Kennedy. Allegedly, Kennedy was planning to leave Jackie O for the star before the secret service intervened.

Walt Disney

This is one of the more peculiar theories that has been around for decades. Some people believe that Walt Disney was posthumously cryogenically frozen in order to be preserved and later reanimated when cloning science had been perfected.  The body of the Disney creator is said to be kept in an underground freezer beneath Disneyworld. In a 1972 interview, Bob Nelson, the president of the Cryonics Society of California, revealed that Walt Disney Studios had inquired about the freezing process just before Disney died in 1966. The Disney family has denied the strange allegation.

Tupac and Biggie

Six months after Tupac died, fellow rapper Biggie Smalls was fatally shot in a violent drive-by shooting in LA. The murders remain unsolved, leaving much room for speculation surrounding the musicians’ deaths. The two men were involved in a heated gang battle between the West and East Coast. The theory alleges that the FBI placed a hit on the two rappers in order to diffuse and contain the gang tension. There is some convincing evidence to suggest that Tupac was indeed under surveillance by the FBI before his death.

Stanley Kubrick

One of the most well-known theories of all time alleges that the moon landing was faked. One particularly bizarre theory involves famed celebrity director Stanley Kubrick. Kubrick, who directed 2001: A Odyssey, which would debut a year before the US landed on the moon, is said to have been hired by NASA to shoot and direct the iconic moment in American history. The popular theory even spawned the documentary; Dark Side of the Moon, which inspects and details the wild conspiracy.

Tom Cruise

Couch-jumping Tom Cruise is an eccentric guy, he is also a proud and prominent practicing Scientologist. There have been a lot of strange theories surrounding the star’s involvement with the Church of Scientology, one of which being that his partners and wives have had to sign a strict contract in order to enter into a relationship with the actor. Supposedly, women must audition for the ‘role’ of girlfriend or wife to placate the Church’s specific demands and ensure that the star’s image is maintained. Sounds pretty fishy to us.

Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles

At the height of One Direction’s popularity, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles were some of the world’s most talked about stars – and some of the talk was pretty scandalous. There are a ton of fans who believe that the boy band’s publicists concealed a romance between the two singers in order to keep the bands’ legions of teenage girl fans in the dark. There are hundreds of fan-made videos online of the boys’ many onstage interactions that convincingly suggest the two were involved. There are stolen glances, tons of suggestive body contact and some very overt sexual tension…

Avril Lavigne

Back in 2003, this weird theory started making the internet rounds. A Brazilian-based blogger was first to suggest that the real Avril Lavigne died and was replaced by a convincing lookalike so that her recording label could continue to profit off of her name. Online believers have combed through photos in order to reveal the dissimilarities between the star and Melissa Vandella, the woman who supposedly was hired to play her.

Princess Diana

In 1997 the world was devastated by the loss of the beautiful, fragile and golden-hearted Princess Diana. After her death, dark rumors began to emerge alleging that the Princess had been murdered by the British Secret Service. The M16 supposedly orchestrated a car crash in order to make the fatal incident look like an accidental tragedy. Diana, after much public scandal, was openly involved with the Egyptian billionaire, Dodi Fayed, who also died in the fatal accident. Allegedly, Diana was pregnant and the two were soon set to announce their engagement when the royal family resorted to grave measures in order to conceal the truth.

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston

Taylor Swift has had her fair share of high-profile romances but fans weren’t convinced by her very public and strangely flamboyant relationship with actor Tom Hiddleston. The couple was first ‘caught’ canoodling in plain sight on a beach in 2016. There were some oddly public displays of affection following the paparazzi images, on one occasion Hiddleston was photographed swimming in a t-shirt emblazoned with ‘I heart Taylor.’ It’s not too much of a stretch to believe that the short-lived romance was indeed a rather transparent PR stunt.

Britney Spears

The Princess of Pop has long been accused of lip-syncing but this particular theory suggests that Britney does sing – but in a much, much deeper voice. In late 2017, Spears posted an Instagram video of her singing a cover of Elvis’s ballad, “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.” Fans were quick to notice that the jerky, quickened pace of the video clearly suggested that it had been sped up. Fans then released the video at the adjusted, real-time pace, revealing that the singer has a much deeper voice. Her voice has said to have been sound engineered to be higher in order to fit her bubblegum pink pop princess image strategically cultivated in the early years of her career.

Lady Gaga

In 2008, an aspiring pop star named Lina Morgana died at the age of nineteen. A year later, Lady Gaga burst on to the music scene and rocketed to stardom. This theory claims that Morgana was killed and Gaga stole her persona in order to launch her pop career. Gaga appeared to sport an alternative look, sound, and unabashed attitude that was strikingly similar to Morgana’s. More complex versions of the story involve Gaga’s supposed ties to the Illuminati and a ritual killing.

Kim Kardashian

In December 2017 Kim Kardashian was gagged, tied up and held at gunpoint in a dramatic robbery in her Parisian hotel room. The traumatizing incident caused the usually publicity-hungry star to recede from the spotlight and abstain from social media. Following the incident, Twitter users took to the platform to speculate that the robbery had been faked and was actually an elaborate stunt to boost the star’s reality TV show. Kim vehemently dismissed the speculation. As far as celeb rumors go, this one is in pretty poor taste.

Keanu Reeves

The internet loves to poke fun at Keanu Reeves, so much so that there are multiple theories that conspire that the actor is actually immortal. According to the website keanuisimmortal.com (yes, it actually exists) the star is 150 years old and has been living under multiple identities since the 1800’s. Theorists believe the actor does not age and that he once claimed the identity of a man named Paul Mounet, a medical doctor who died in 1922.

Kris Jenner

We all know Kris Jenner as the savvy manager and fabulous matriarch of the Kardashian family. There are some people who have suggested Jenner has always been willing to go to extreme measures for publicity. Some claim it was she who orchestrated the release of Kim’s infamous sex tape. Sources have stated that she was the middleman mastermind who organized the tape be sold to an adult entertainment company. Kris has labeled the rumors ‘ridiculous’ but, truth be told, we don’t find this story quite so difficult to believe.

Paul McCartney

This long-standing theory revolves around music legend Paul McCartney. Theorists believe that the Beatles singer actually died in a car accident in 1966 and the band’s management concealed the incident, replacing the star with a lookalike. McCartney has had an enduring and successful career since the Beatles. The supposed ‘lookalike’ has done pretty well for himself.

Nicolas Cage

This hilarious theory got its start in 2011 when an antique dealer listed a portrait photograph, taken in 1870, for sale. The photo featured a man who bears a striking resemblance to the actor Nicolas Cage. The dealer posted the item online along with this wild theory; the man was actually Nicolas Cage, who is secretly a vampire. The story spread like wildfire, so much so that the actor was asked in a talk show interview with David Letterman. The actor said, “You can’t take pictures of vampires. I don’t drink blood and the last time I looked in the mirror I had a reflection.”

JK Rowling

This outrageous theory proposes that the Harry Potter books were devised by a group of money-hungry advertisers and writers in order to create a franchise that would appeal to the world and make a few people spectacularly rich. Rowling is allegedly a paid actress who has been masquerading as the fictional author. Pretty out-there stuff, even for the internet.

Prince Harry

People love to talk about the royal family. There is one story that has always set gossipmongers’ tongues wagging. Apparently, Prince Harry was not fathered by Prince Charles, but by Princess Diana’s lover James Hewitt. Two years after Harry’s birth, the Princess confirmed her affair with the red-haired riding instructor. They do look alike but Hewitt has repeatedly denied the rumor.

Lorde

This outlandish theory suggests that the popular singer-songwriter, Lorde, who is now twenty-one-years-old, is actually much, much older. Some people have speculated she is in her late forties, suggesting she looks years beyond her supposed age and has made some statements that have let slip she is actually older. A birth certificate has made its rounds on the internet but conspiring internet trolls claim it is an easily forged document.

Ted Cruz

For those of you who haven’t picked up a newspaper in a while, Ted Cruz is a bumbling American senator who participated in the 2015 – 2016 Presidential election. The internet was not a fan of the creepy candidate and spawned a facetious theory that Cruz was actually the Zodiac Killer, an unidentified and notorious serial killer of the 60’s and 70’s. The conspiracy is more of an intricate joke but is bizarrely popular, one Facebook group advocating the theory has 27, 000 followers.

Michael Jackson

The King of Pop was known for his killer dance moves and incredible vocal range, yet some have suggested the singing sensation may have had some chemical assistance. One theory insinuates that Jackson underwent hormonal treatment in order to preserve his ability to reach such high pitches. Alain Branchereau, a professor of vascular surgery, insisted that MJ used the synthetic anti-male hormone drug, Cyproterone, as a teenager. He explained that the drug ‘blocks puberty so the voice can’t mature,’ leaving its consumer with a slight frame, no body hair and a child’s underdeveloped larynx.

Kurt Cobain

Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain captured the hearts of angry, grunged-up youths of the nineties. Fans were devastated when he was found dead in his home in 1994. The star had supposedly taken an extreme amount of heroin and then shot himself. According to his wife, Courtney Love, the singer had been suicidal and had left a note. Yet a private eye, who was hired by Love, following the singer’s death, claimed Cobain had been murdered. He maintains that the star would not have been able to operate a gun in his drug-induced state. He believes someone administered the drugs to him and then shot the singer.

Miley Cyrus

When Miley Cyrus first shed her good-girl image and waltzed on to stage twerking in a nude, latex get-up, tabloids and fans became obsessed with the star’s provocative new image. Some actually think this was all orchestrated to keep the nation distracted with celebrity headlines while some underhanded politics went on. We know that Miley has been prone to some outrageous antics but now being a friendly, hippy vegan, we think not.
