This year, Hasbro is set to release three new (and more affordable) toys as part of their FurReal Petstoy line, which includes a broccoli-loving T-Rex named Munchin’ Rex who will retail for $49.99. The even more price-friendly options include a vet-themed monkey named Check-up Zandi for $29.99 and a groomable Yorkie dog named Shaggy Shawn for $24.99.

Paw Patrol Ultimate Rescue Fire Truck Play Set

Kano’s Harry Potter Coding Wand

Kano, a company that strives to produce educational toys that teach STEM, procured a licensing deal involving the Harry Potter franchise in 2018. As a result, they introduced the Harry Potter coding kit available for purchase starting in October. Kids can build their own wand using the kit, which they can then use to control action on a computer or television screen. Moving the wand in a certain way causes events like bells ringing and owls appearing. Kids have the option of over 70 “wizard challenges” to help them master their homemade wands.

Hatchimals Mystery

Hatchimals is adding new animals to their collection with a fun twist. In past iterations, kids were able to choose which Hatchimal they’d hatch; these new additions will be “mystery” toys, so you never know which one you’ll get until it hatches.
