Woody Harrelson’s father spent most of his life in prison after being convicted of two murder charges. A hitman, Charles Harrelson was convicted in 1973 for the 1968 murder of Sam Degelia. While out on parole, he shot and killed U.S. District Judge John H. Wood, Jr. in 1979. Harrelson attempted to escape prison in 1995, but he was caught and sent to the Supermax prison ADX Florence. He died of cancer in 2007.

Shakur was eventually acquitted of all charges, and Tupac was born one month after her release.

“American Idol” alum Kellie Pickler’s father, Bo, was in and out of jail when she was a child. He served 3 years for aggravated assault and battery related to a 2003 stabbing. In 2013, he was listed as a fugitive in Florda after violating his probation. Pickler was raised primarily by her grandparents.
